Six sentence story – dress. I’m delighted that the six sentences can be any genre, any way, blah, blah, blah. I’m sharing some haiku which are loosely sentences following the 5-7-5 pattern of the traditional Japanese poetry.
Dress bare branches up
With freshly fallen white snow
Majestic until it melts.
A dress that covers
Imperfections quite nicely
Is a wardrobe star.
A dress uniform
Standing erect at gravesite
Pulls on the heart strings.
Dressing with turkey
Part of a holiday feast
Brings us together.
It’s dress down Friday
And jeans and mocs are the norm
Great comfort today.
You can dress me up
But you cannot rid me of
Innate rowdiness.

damn… very nicely done! haiku is the one form of poetry that I still believe I do, if only because it’s the one I like the most.
